Tutorial Instalasi Dual Boot Linux Windows untuk Pemula
Jika Anda ingin melakukan Dual Boot Linux dan Windows, pastikan Windows sudah terinstal terlebih dahulu didalam komputer. PCLINUX 3D OS memungkinkan Anda untuk menginstal Linux secara point n’ click dari awal sampai akhir instalasi, sehingga proses instalasi menjadi sangat mudah untuk dilakukan.

Berikut langkah demi langkah proses instalasi Dual Boot Linux Windows dengan menggunakan 3D OS :

Boot komputer dengan Live CD/DVD 3D OS.
Setelah masuk desktop, klik icon Install 3D OS untuk memulai proses instalasi. Jika Anda login sebagai guest, suatu kotak dialog akan muncul menanyakan password untuk user root. Password untuk root adalah root.

3. Layar pembuka muncul. Klik tombol Next untuk memulai proses instalasi.
   
   
4. Pilih jenis harddisk dan kemudian klik tombol Next.
   
5. Jika didalam komputer telah terinstal Windows, pergunakanlah salah satu pilihan berikut :
   • Remove Windows : untuk menghapus partisi Windows dan menggantinya dengan Linux
   • Use free space on Windows : untuk membuat partisi Linux dari sisa ruang yang ada di partisi Windows. Gunakan pilihan ini jika Anda ingin Dual Boot Windows dan Linux.
   • Custom disk partitioning : untuk menentukan sendiri pilihan partisi harddisk
   
6. Tentukan ukuran partisi yang akan dipergunakan untuk Linux.
   
7. Layar peringatan muncul di layar menyatakan bahwa Anda akan membuat partisi Linux. Klik tombol Next untuk melanjutkan.

Pertama, memancing orang untuk melakukan download dan install program yang seolah-olah berguna, seperti antivirus, Flash Player, atau game atas kemauan sendiri.
